These are the golden days, boys..

Here are some numbers on the Saints since 2006..
In Primetime since 06:
11-2 in MNF(6-15 before)
8-3 in SNF
Record at the Dome:
45-20 at home since 06 including 32-9 since the Super Bowl Season of 2009
66-45 record since 06, counting Payton's absent year..still very good
As young as i am, i still remember the disappointing seasons of the mid 90s and the sweet taste of joy once we WON our first playoff game in 2000(I am fully aware we MADE the playoffs before then--excuse earlier typo)..I remember the bagheads in the superdome, the jokes..But hearing Henderson say "Hakim drops the ball!!" will forever be cemented into my memory. It's incredible that we have a HOF quarterback, one of the best coaches in the NFL, top 10 defense and probably the best offense in the NFL AGAIN this year...
Just wanted to vent my joy in this team and city..These are the days, guys..Teams cycle in and out of glory days and just wanna say how lucky we are to be in the golden years

I'm just happy we had/have "Golden years". Never would have thought we could have this much success. I was watching NFL network Top 10 SB show the other day and started crying like a bitch.

yet you said you remember watching in the 90s.
you are a tard. don't get mad because you are lying throug your teeth. I bet you had a cowgirl starter jacket as a kid.

After waiting 20 years for a winning season and 34 for the first playoff win I can now say it was worth it.
There's no special cred for just being an old fart fan. But the more of those black days you endured as a fan, the sweeter these years are IMO.
Regulars will be tired of me pointing out, but the even greater hope is for the Saints to continue paralleling the Steelers. LOOK HERE 38 years, one playoff loss, 6 winning seasons. The next 40 or so? 26 playoffs & 6 Lombardis in 8 Super Bowl games. The paradigm has shifted tectonically.

The mother of frick are you even talking about dude? You know what i meant..the first saints PLAYOFF WIN
I watched several shitty saints seasons in the 90's then was happy for their emergence in 2000 then in -06. What connection isn't your brain making? You one of those elitist fans who thinks anyone not around to see Dempsey's kick or old tulane stadium is a bandwagoner?
Kindly

he is a moron. The 90s were awesome until Ditka. Dome used to be rocking until Mora's last season. If it wasn't for Montana to Rice we would have won the west a few more times.

Born in 1992, space traveler
Therefore, it would make sense that i wasn't around to watch the saints go to said playoff games considering i was probably a crazy thought in 1991 and only a fetus in 1992

Went to first saints game ripe old age of three. Pop had season tickets
Record from 1995-1999 was 25-58. Quit trying to be the fan cop, you a-hole

No one is arguing when you were born but you posted two things that contradicted each other, genius.
That's why so many people are giving you sh1t. You need to go back and read your posts, detective.

my first memories of the Saints were Dave Wilson. But I can honestly say as a 2nd generation who dat fan that the loser mentality the fan base had was passed down. Was born into a shitty team, kids these days have no clue. So I understand what you are saying.

Mora was fired after 96 season. Don't lump ditka into my argument. You lose again

The Calvin is getting embarrassed in this thread. Ouch

I know exactly what was said, and edited.
I simply was typing fast and put that the "saints made their first playoff game" when obviously i meant that the "saints won their first playoff game". My dad went to the 91 playoff game they lost before i was born.
Quit trying to make a simple mistake something bigger

Regardless of the OP's flub up, the message is still true...We are watching football greatness unfold before our eyes. It seems like every game, Drew or New Orleans are breaking some kind of record. We have one of the greatest NFL QBs taking snaps right in front our eyes, and we will all be able to look back on it and relish it
