Yes, Mac Brown and Les Miles are very similar. Each has guided their teams to (2) BCS title games, each one having won a title. How many coaches not named Saban can make this claim? Are they perfect? No. But their tremendous success raises the bar of expectations. Beginning with Saban's first title with LSU and continuing through today, LSU is on its greatest run in history. This leads to great disappointment and frustration with every mistake on the field or loss on the scoreboard. The time will come when Les Miles leaves on his terms, and we have to find the next Saban or Miles to lead this program, but history at traditional powers like Alabama, Texas, Nebraska, Michigan and even LSU show how hit or miss this replacement process can be. Be careful what you wish for.
