You're getting jacked on the install pretty bad. I could do it without air tools in 30 minutes. Normal shop charges are $75/hr.
Jack up truck
Take tires off
Unbolt sway bar
Pop upper ball joint loose
Unbolt struts
Bolt spacers on
Do the reverse of what you just did
On a scale, it is probably a 2 out of 10 for hardness. A 1 out of 10 would be changing your air filter

Except that you have to use the weight of the truck to compress the spring since it is now longer.

I'd say 4 or 5 for those who have never done it.
But I've installed two level kits and they weren't bad.
