They must be special. Based on this year's results, our defense will probably not outplay their offense. Our offense can outplay their defense. If we can win the special teams battle, that might overcome the defense and win the game.
OBJ needs to be spectacular but with no turnover. Khene (sp) cannot have one of his all too often shanks and must flip the field when called upon. Dellahousay (sp) must be perfect again. The coverage teams must not allow any long returns. Secial team play was a major reason we won the last time at Bama. We need them even more this time.

We're due a TD return. Haven't had one in a while.

OBJ He's gonna be gunning for a big specials teams play. Remember the honey badger? His amazing special teams plays pumped the whole team up. I agree with you. Special Teams will be extremely important.

I'm not expecting any 70 yard punts.

Well if Keehn does have a 70 yard punt, rest assured he'll make up for it with a 20 yarder.

Is it me or does our punt return team lets all the men go unblocked all the time. It seams like if we are playing a decent team the guys can run down the field untouched and are on OBJ as soon as he fields the punt

Blocking does seem lacking mant times. Everybody must be on their game Saturday.

The other part is not to lose the special teams part of the game. In this game that will play huge part in the success of the team that wins. Something will happen special teams wise to break this game open. Just watch. It seems to happen every year.
From Dandy Don this morning.

Per Dandy Don LSU is averaging 38.8 yards per punt versus Bama's 46.4 yards per punt. Not good. Also Bama averages more per per punt and kickoff return, which I believe is more about OBJ running back kicks rather than fair catching or downing in the end zone which I have no problem with.
I just hope Keehn does not do the shank thing this game. We can't afford it. Also OBJ must not fumble the ball on returns.

Most of the kicking games are a strength. Odell Beckham is an ever-present threat as a return man, the coverage teams are very good and Colby Delahoussaye -- if he plays -- has proven to be a very reliable kicker. The lone exception is punter Jame Keehn. He has been very up and down and that could play a massive role in field position.

I admire OBJs balls but he has to be smart, this is the worst punting we have had in a long time.

#22 for bama, christion jones is a real threat on kick off returns. 35-14 tigers.
