Agreed. LSU in my opinion has been out recruiting Alabama and most schools at skill position positions. But has continually fallen short on the line. Specifically the Offensive line. Our D has been sick in recent years and yes we had great DB's but it was the D-line that was always the anchor. It makes everyone elses job so much easier. Look at how it covered up subpar LB play.

You fail at line you will struggle. Period.

I would take at least 8 Off. and defensive lineman every year if it was up to me.

Our O-line is pretty good this year. We'll probably end up with a 1,000 yard rusher and 2 500 yard rushers. Most of those guys are underclassman too. So I would say we've done well in the last few classes.

LSU has run into a string of bad luck in regards to the OL, that has clouded the perception a little bit. Hurst, Faulk and Williford are examples of this.

Me too.

I have to say though; from my experience at the Rant, they think that all you need is a two-deep at each ol position.
I don't get it,.

For the roster, I always thought it was best to have 6 or 7 tackles ...... Good ones for depth....of course.
As well as having 8 interior linemen.

Agreed it has caught up to Miles and company big time. You have to win the trenches and LSU this has lost it.
