Anyone score a bottle yet?
I am on the waitlist at Acquistipaces...but they have not received theirs yet.
Martins pretty much just told me I am not important enough...though in the last month between business and personal, I have dropped around $3,000.

There are many many people with accounts at Martins well into the 5 figures per month.

Cheaper option: go to Big Apple BBQ in June, head to EMP on saturday afternoon and buy a bottle from Julian himself.

Any local bars serve Pappy's?

I purchased a bottle of 20 for $100 about 3 years ago. The price has to be right. Watch for the price gouging. If you see it, report it to Van Winkles. They want to know.

In BR you can order Pappy by the glass at Mansurs and The Cove. Maybe more places but those are the ones I know of. Not cheap though. The 15 at Mansurs is $35 a glass.

Wow...I had no clue.
december last year we did drop about 15 there...but five figures every month is a lot.
I have been drinking pappy 20 since 2006...it used to be $80 for a bottle and could easily be found. I understand supply and demand but this has gotten ridiculous. Les miles has lost control of pappy.

Pretty sure the upstairs bar at the Avenue Pub serves it.

Haven't see this in a few years. It was $50 a couple years ago. Not as smooth as the Pappy line.

Why I prefer jeff reserve 18 or 21
Same style of wheated bourbon with a lot less hype

JPS 21 is not a wheated mashbill
Posted on 11/1/13 at 8:28 pm to gmrkr5
Then what is it? Please educate me
Posted on 11/1/13 at 8:32 pm to Rouge
It's a standard rye based bourbon. The 17 and 18 were so sought after because they were distilled and aged at stitzel weller. The same place pappy was distilled and aged, essentially making it pappy in a different bottle. JPS21 was not distilled or aged at stitzel weller.
