Actually it looked like the first pick was a miscommunication or an incorrect route by the WR. He threw a quick out and WR ran deeper (don't remember if it was a deep come back or a fly). The pass went directly to the DB. Not as bad as people are making it seem.

Second int was a result of Hawkins getting beat and the DE hitting Mett's arm as he released it.

There was only really one other "bad" pass that I remember and that was to ODB. ODB was bracketed by CB and S and Mett threw it high b/w the 2. ODB jumped and caught the ball and went in for the TD.

this.

that said, it is obvious to me that the pinpoint accuracy he had in the first 5 games of the season has gone south. It started in the 1st half against Florida, continued at Ole Miss, and at times again Furman.

The common thread there is that it was early in the Florida game that his lower leg injury occurred. He brushed it off the next week as a 'deep shin bruise', but he's been wearing a big knee brace on that leg since.

IMO, something with that leg is bothering him enough to affect his mechanics.

The read was wrong for some reason on this throw. Mett read man coverage and threw a backshoulder spot. OBJ kept running up the field. On the replay the DB was backpeddling and swiveled his hips turned up field for an instant as if in man coverage. Then all of the sudden he breaks off the coverage and just sits right there and Mett had just released the ball. Not sure if DB read the play or just got lucky. If Mett threw to OBJ on the fly he would have scored easily as the DB left him.
