From my understanding is that it has been released in Korea. So people are changing their IP and VPN to fool servers thinking they are in Korea.

Not wrong, did it last year. But the servers for XBL didnt show up until a few hours before the release, may be different this go around.

Correct. There's some guys on my battlelog that are playing single player right now.
