For those that watched, how was Withey?

Box score shows that he had a decent game (much better than Steamer), did he pass the eye test as well?

He certainly has more upside than Onuaku and Stiemsma. He did go down with a leg thing, but returned to action quickly. He's energetic, and that goes a long way with the suddenly quicker team.

Looking at how Monty operates, he'll likely ease Withey into minutes, but of the three of them, Withey should be highest on the depth chart sometime in January.

To me he looked a little tentative. He's got the instincts and the ability and if he can put it together, we are in great shape. With experience comes confidence and with confidence comes tenacity which he needs more of. Being around J Smoove will be very beneficial.

I want Onuaku to stick around. I want that round mound of mass available to pick up some fouls and give us a couple of minutes.

I like Onuaku. He's a hard worker. He's actually improved his FT%, which is something many players can not do. Monty has specifically called him out about his energy, he has knee issues, and he's got a confidence problem... when one thing goes wrong, sometimes he just collapses. There is no reason to let him go unless they need the spot since his deal is fully unguaranteed.

VoR, holler if you are at the open practice.

Rivers has actually managed to decrease his FT%. He shot 70% in high school, 65% in college, and 54% last year. Definitely a confidence problem with him.

That on top of a serious mechanical flaw.
