will we try to outscore Bama when we play them in two weeks?

that's what I was wondering and wanted other posters opinions on the subject. If we play the type offense where we don't really try to score points but try to control the clock by running the ball out of a tight formation, like against Florida and the first half of the Ole Miss game, . Or will we go back to wide open offense utilizing our recievers and running Hill at them. Both are good strategies but you win more games when you outscore your opponent IMO.

I hope we try to outscore them.

Miles will play small ball vs. Bama

No. LSU will try to let Bama outscore them.

I don't think that Coach Miles will run up the score and embarrass Alabama. Miles is not that kind of coach.
Look for Miles to call off the dogs once LSU gets a three point lead.

so if we some how get a lead, Miles will try to milk it for the rest of the game?

We need to control the game, clock, and keep our defense off the field as much as possible. not in hurry up,
our guys are the only ones that can man up w Bama every year

I find metaphors that involve dairy products to be distasteful, so, I won't answer that question, because I am lactose intolerant.

miles wants LSU to be tough
gonna be a smashmouth blowout
gonna be a smashmouth blowout

we will buckle up our chin straps smash mouth style and go toe to toe with them and get knocked out or we could spread them out and throw the ball to Landry, OBj, Dickson, and Boone, with a good dose of running plays with Hill and outscore them.

It seems a lot of people don't understand that it is about moving the chains and getting in the endzone. Running plays and time of possession don't mean anything if you don't get first downs, and score points, they still get the ball back.

balance offense is best, but LSU is going to have to score on most of their possessions against bama because the defense they have is awful.

shite look for him to call off the dogs as soon as they're within a score just so they can play for last possession.

You, my friend, are brilliant.

Don't really think that's much of a concern.

thanks man, I just try to break it down to the basics for the people on here. Most the posters on here tend to forget that, in general but not neccessarily, that the team that scores the most points and thus has the most points on the scoreboard (important point: at the end of the game) will generally win said game.
