I'd be surprised if he does.

It'll be baseball season once we lose to Bama :|
Making the Auburn road trip for baseball. Plans already made, I believe. Also thinking about making the trip to Oxford for our series against the bears. As much shite as I give to Ole Miss, their fans do baseball up right.

I've never made a baseball road trip. This may be the year.

It's a lot of fun. Need to do one a season. Arrival on Thursday night is also key to get the lay of the land/co-eds.

I may have to put one together this year. It's tough to plan with two young ones.

Pitching looked weak.....Glenn and to some extent Nola.
I counted 3 BB's, 4 hits and 1 HBP by Glenn in 3 innings.
Nola gave up 3 hits and 1 BB in 3 innings but did have 2 or 3 k's including the latest #8 on a full count with runners on 2nd and 3rd with two outs.
Kramer Mulkey Robertson was worked hard at first base. Mainieri was with him almost the entire 3 innings that I was there. Still didn't keep Kramer from an E3 on a pop up in front of the pitcher's mound. He went hard but the ball hit the heel of his mitt and dropped.
We don't have a catcher with an arm. Chinea and Moore caught and their throws hit the mascot a couple of times.

This article was published tonight and contained this gem...
Don't know whether to at my boy TylaMo leading at this point or to at our catcher position that he would be starting if the season began tomorrow.

It's still a long way from the start of the season, but Tyler Moore is currently the lead contender to become the starting catcher.
Mainieri placed Moore slightly above Chris Chinea and Kade Scivicque, with Michael Barash currently in fourth place. There isn't a large distance between the group, but Moore has been the best performer so far this fall.

Mainieri singled out freshman Kramer Robertson. He's still battling with fellow freshman Danny Zardon for the second base job, but Mainieri tried him out in left field on Wednesday and he looked at home while making a diving catch and showing off a strong arm on throws to the plate.
Another position Mainieri is playing around with is first base. He wasn't satisfied with how some of the guys had played defensively, so on Thursday he planned to give Robertson and catcher Kade Scivicque a look at first base.
More KR love.
