while that would be stellar, I think it may be a bit of a stretch

I see some Rudy Gay in him. What say you?

Yeah, I would say definitely way more like Rudy Gay. He's way thicker than Durant and should have a more viable post presence than him, but (obviously) isn't as advanced in his perimeter game.

He'll get some time at the 3 (majority at the 4), so he's the big forward with ball handling skills that can take it into the paint.

Comparisons to the best SF/PFs will be made because he's so athletic.

I'll spend a quiet evening of man-love with him if he even resembles Durant on the court.

I see a Ludwig/Voogd/Lloreda hybrid, TBH.

Can you imagine that holy LSU basketball trinity all in one player? He's going to make Shaq look like Xavier Wipple.

If he's not as good as Kevin Durant, ranters will throw him under the bus.

All word is that he has been very good on the perimeter. I know that's why he models his game on Durant. He likes being outside of the paint with the ability to get in the paint. And his size and athleticism allows him to do all sorts of things inside.

Jones said he's been playing almost entirely at the 3 so far and they like him there. That being said, I expect a lot of different looks

Any word on how the other two highly touted freshman (mickey and quartermann) are doing?

quarterman

Has gotten high praise from Coach Jones as a guy who has been a leader on and off the court. Always with a smile on his face, he works hard. Has been said his perimeter defense is very stout.

Quarterman has been running strictly at the point. Which to me is even more exciting bc not many teams have 6'6 pg. They expect him to see a good bit of playing. Also said he likes throwing the lob a lot which is an odd statement but he's got some bigs to throw it to.
