I went to this place this afternoon. It was pretty busy, probably about 9-10 people inside. Everybody was speaking Spanish. I ask the guy if he had a menu and he said no, but there was a menu up above on the wall.

It really isnt a menu. It just says tacos 1.99 with picture of tacos. And plates 7.99 with a picture of a plate. It doesnt say anything about what they have or any other prices. So i said frick it and i left.

Has anybody eaten there? What do you order?
I guess ill go back when they decide to make a detailed menu.

Eta: i knew i would get bashed for this thread, but the point is to find out what people have eaten there so i can get some ideas of what to order.

I actually just ate there for lunch this afternoon. Got 3 tacos (corn tortillas), 2 of them with steak and the other with shredded chicken. Wanted to get one with brisket, but they were out. What I had was very good, and there was a bar with lettuce, pico, cilantro, onions, peppers and a variety of sauces for the tacos.

You just order the tacos with the meat you want (listed below the $1.99 sign). Or get a burrito or quesadilla, again with whatever meat you want. Think they had tamales as well.

I'll go back, for sure.

Get outside the cushy environs of Lakeview and learn about the real world. There are so many mom and pops that do quite well with serving their food as they have for decades and a black board is all you get.

Just had some tacos and a quesadilla. I think it's very good. I'd love to try one of the lunch plates.

Yes, I used an iPhone filter. I like them

This is truly sad if you had a hard time ordering there. I went a couple weeks back on a week night, no one was in there. Took about 3-5 minutes to figure out exactly what I wanted. Prices, meat, descriptions were all plain as day. I asked about one thing because I wasn't sure what it was and they were more than friendly. I feel bad for your kid.

tamale

Friend got the tamale and it wasn't very good. It may have been sitting out for a while and that was why. My tacos were pretty solid though.
