I think we should run the ball. That's what we do

More running is exactly what they tried doing the last two games, and it's what killed the momentum the offense had and led to Mett looking horrible. I'm sorry, but some of you are idiots.

And still, no one has answered my question of why Mett looked brilliant until Miles went back to his style of offense. Let's all just keep ignoring that so we don't have to put the blame where it belongs, on Miles.

My friend got up off the couch after the third turnover and fake kicked the oldest dog in the room.

People were appalled.

I laughed.

If that actually happened, you're as big a POS as your friend.

benched for who?????? a true freshman that has hardly taken any snaps or a junior that got passed up by a freshman?????

Whose fault is that? Why were Lee and JJ forced to play as freshmen? Do you think he has the intelligence, when recruiting season starts, to look at a roster and count the number of players with QB beside their name.

Lee and JJ was forced to play as freshman because Les bowed to outside forces and kicked off his potential starting QB Ryan Perriloux in the offseason. I remember when he made the call some people on tigerrant applauded him because they felt Ole General Lee was the next coming of Brett Farve. We should not see jennings until a blowout is occurring (furman) and he should at least throw a minimum of 5 passes along with the young talent we have at receiver.

Mett seems nervous and indecisive.

Might have something to do w/ the defense pressuring him, yes?

While our defense let an average (at best) QB w/ a horrible, slow throwing delivery time to sit comfortably in the pocket, gain some confidence, and have what I assume was the best statistical night of his average career. I guess ol Chiefy didn't see the Ala. film where they crowded the line and brought heat, and shut out the Bears.

This is exactly what I keep trying to tell people. Only reason anyone is bringing up underneath wr's is because Miles said it before halftime.

Poor substitute for excellence and execution. Results speak for themselves. Mett checked out last week when the CLM pound it out ground game became the offense again, IMO.

Where do you people come from?

Like Mett really checked out because of the game plan from the previous week was not to his liking.

You don't know what the hell Mett is thinking and to make such a statement is just stupid.

Best way to beat Florida with our defense is exactly how you do it. We took the ball out of their ground and pound offense and limited Florida's ability to dictate temp.

As far as the Ole Miss game, we learned exactly what everyone said pre-season and many fans ignored: Our defense is a rebuild.

Take your pick. Giving either one some meaningful snaps would be something. But Mett wasn't benched and thus my point. The coaches knew this was on them for making those calls to begin with. They set Mett up for failure.

And the hits from you just keep coming.

First you said Mett quit because it was not his gameplan. Now, the coaches set Mett up for failure.

I'm sure Les and Cam told Mett to continue to throw it into double coverage. This is what happens when a team finally takes away the two guys your QB throws 90% of his passes to. If he doesn't adjust and look elsewhere he's going to throw some picks. Other guys where open.
