My New Basic Reloading Setup

I went ahead and decided to get a reloading setup for my house since I was sick of making Bapple reloading vids at my parents' residence at my dad's reloading bench.
So I went ahead and got a small setup for my room. Here are the supplies I bought:
RCBS Partner Press - This thing is AWESOME! It is very solidly built and is a lot smaller than a regular RCBS Rock Chucker. I still can't get over how compact this thing is. Here it is compared to my dad's Rock Chucker.
RCBS Universal Priming Tool - This one is a bit better than the Lee tool from my videos. There are no flat shell holders needed. It is spring loaded and holds the shell in place very well.
RCBS Uniflow - Just like the one from my videos but newer. RCBS has great service and will replace anything if there is a breakage and that is the main reason why I chose their products over Lee products.
Here is my overall setup on a cheap $100 desk I got from Target online a long time ago. It is probably particle board but it is strong enough to hold the press in place. We'll see how it holds up over time. The press is mounted with 3 wood screws with rubber grommets and washers. It feels pretty solid and I prepped about 500 cases last night with no issues. (Sorry for the dim lighting.)

RCBS makes great stuff.
Time for you to start saving for a Dillon.

Nice! I just moved my reloading setup into the house, it had been out in the shed, but the shed needs a new roof so it's probably gonna stay in the house.
Built my reloading desk out of an old solid wooden door, it has held up nicely over the years.
I have the reliable old Rock Chucker and a Dillon progressive. I just wish components would come down in price.
I found some pull-down M80 147 gr FMJ projectiles at the Lafayette gunshow last weekend for $21 for 100. I can remember not long ago they were half that price.

I agree with you and LC. I def need one. But while I'm living in this house and not owning a house myself, I had to find a compact setup. This was fairly affordable and will last me a while.
The thing about progressive setups is how tall they are. This setup is extremely compact, granted it is a good bit more work.
A Dillon is on the horizon in the future though.

Even if you don't get the press, Dillon's accessories are the cat's arse. Their polisher is particularly nice.
I grew up on the Lee priming tool and don't think I could ever use anything different even if I wanted to.

This is the first time I've tried something different and I really like the RCBS one. It's just so much more solid. But if you put a Lee in my hand I could go all day long.

I use a Thumbler's Tumbler with stainless media for cleaning. They come out looking brand new every single time.

Something I'll be getting into after Christmas. Looking at the Hornady Lock-n-Load progressive setup since I'll be reloading 9mm, .45, 30-30, 30-06, 5.56, and .308. Have lots of brass sitting around and ammo is hard to find up here in PA.

I keep the old catalogs I get each month, just for the pics of the chicky snacks.
