Yeah, and what I'm hearing is that this goes way beyond the handling of the football team. These young men should be applauded for their actions.

Well, it must be serious...because, they should lose their scholarship for it immediately.

It still may be the right thing to do (perhaps playing at Grambling simply isn't worth it), but when you choose not to live up to your end of the bargain...and choose to blow up the entire situation while you are at it...you've chosen the nuclear option.

This feels more like a mob mentality thing. I doubt the players have thought this through. And, they haven't considered whether or not this is the best course of action to accomplish whatever it is that they want.

A threat of a mass transfer after the season if change isn't applied would have made much more sense. Instead, they have given the administration no choice but to remove their scholarship and give them the option of paying for the semester, or leaving school.

Well that's just ridiculous. Ask any of our wonderful state representatives who continually fund these underperforming graph run over bloated personal fiefdoms. They'll tell you how important they are to the state and how well run they are.

GSU, SUNO, and about 6 others are very very important to Louisiana. Just ask the politicians, they'll tell you
