I somewhat see your point in the fact that he may be upholding a financial obligation, and that keeps him from being a deadbeat.

And Chuck's "I am not a role model" speech is appropriate here.

With that said, I will say that the behavior of indiscriminately father multiple children by multiple different women is detrimental to society. The fact that he has the money to pay the support doesn't make the behavior right. There are a lot more responsibilities to fatherhood than just being a check.

The sad fact is this behavior is epidemic in our society today, and dont think its confined to one ethnic group.

No, it's no APs job to "set an example" and go judge him on that would be wrong. But to excuse a bad pattern of behavior because he has the money to take away one negative result of it is not right either

Show me proof that he isn't a good father to his kids outside of his financial responsibilities. And don't bring up the one that just died, because AD didn't even know he existed until very shortly before he died.

I agree that having a ton of kids with different mothers is inherently irresponsible and can make it hard to always be there, but we don't know what kind of father he is to any of these kids.

Before I go and bash him and call him a shitty example and a stain on society, I'd want to hear from one of the 5 mothers that he is a non-existant father figure.
