Have a friend selling his, am interested in buying it but having trouble finding more than a couple online to see what they are going for. He has put 30 rounds through it. Anyone have an idea what a good price would be?

I could be wrong, but I think that is basically the same as the bushmaster ar15. So probably in the same price range as a comparable bushmaster

Bushmaster, Remington and DPMS are all made by the same manufacturers I believe. I know they are part of the "Freedom Group."
I think the main features of the Remington are a camo finish and lightweight features for hunting. Besides that, it's just a regular ole AR. I would guess under 1k for one new probably...

Correct. Owned by the conglomerate Cerberus Capital Management that also owns Marlin, H&R, and PARA, USA related to guns. They also own Albertson's grocery stores, and National and Alamo Rental car services, amongst other interests.

They actually sold it right after Sandy Hook and caved to political pressure. But I'm sure the rifles are still run out of the same factories.

Cerberus has not sold Freedom Group yet. The founder of Cerberus was considering buying the company for himself but did not. Still trying to sell the company but not yet.
Also, Cerberus owns Chrysler
