It sounds like both recruits are very high on the track programs I was just wondering how our track team stacks up against the rest of the nation and if that might help reel them in to Baton Rouge

I was expecting this to be a pick between the two thread. Nice.

Due to the timing of this post, you likely won't get actual answers to your question. I certainly don't have one. Just don't compare the two or you'll get e-castrated.

Specific to Tony Brown, we have one of the best hurdles coaches in the country, possibly the best. And Brown is an EE that could participate in track as soon as he gets on campus and potentially contribute to an NC run since we seem to only be missing a top flight hurdler at this time.

I don't know what events Jackson participates in.

It's one of the top 5-8 teams in the country, pretty much every year. A&M, Oregon, Florida (especially in the jumps), Texas, Baylor, and Arkansas are other very good teams.

If a recruit is interested in track, the program at LSU can only help, especially since Les has a record of working with the program.

I think that's one of the key's there. Note UF and AR are very good about that too. With Brown, have to factor in the olympic trials too. But I imagine LSU would have no trouble accommodating that whatsoever.

Brown does the 110 hurdles, right? The US is so dominant at that event that I think there's a minimal chance that any of the guys in college or younger will make the 2016 team.
