This is, bar none, the worst thread I've read on here all year.

why?

this isn't 1960 where most people in South Louisiana didn't have air-conditioning and were more acclimatized to the heat....the first aid stations were running triage; the chief marshall for the North End Zone told me tonight that he spent the first half carrying people to the first aid stations...

because we have a conference front office run by people who only seem to think about what's good for Alabama?

because we have a conference front office that can't use a little imagination in scheduling the early part of the season? you don't have the oppressive heat during the day in either Columbia or Knoxville or Lexington....

you don't have to be J.M. Stagg or Nash Roberts to figure out that it's going to be HOT and HUMID in South Louisiana prior to 15 October....

let someone die from heatstroke and their family sue the SEC front office and CBS in a Louisiana courtroom and watch the sparks fly...

Alabama has played more 2:30 games than any team in the conference over the last five years. It's hot in alabama just like its hot in Louisiana ( and Georgia, and Florida, and Mississippi, and South Carolina.)

This has as much to do with "they're out to get us" in your eyes as it has to do with the weather, because if you did your research you would see that the best teams in the league play at 2:30, and it's hot everywhere.
