Dylan starts at Lb and plays sparingly at Rb. which is how i prefer it. Nick knows how to run in Coach Mahaffey's offense. i want Dylan to watch and learn his turn will come soon enough

I've been watching the stat lines each week and this past week I noticed brossette with 37 carries, and Dylan with none and i meant to ask you why that was because from the scrimmage film Dylan got carries and was doing well, and he clearly has the athleticism.

I guess your coach wants Dylan to use all his energy anchoring the D since Brossette has the backfield taken care of.

Has Dylan ever watched much video of Sergio Kindle? Dylan could be growing into that same mold. Kindle was a GREAT RB in HS and obviously he went to the next level at Texas as a DE/LB hybrid (Cushing is also in this mold). I keep hearing LB as Dylan's position but if he gets to be 6-3/6-4 then he might be a perfect fit for the DE/LB hybrid if his speed is still there as his size increases.

Anyways, he's still learning. Going to be a long time for us LSU fans, but a very short time for Dylan. HS is a short time for anyone anyways. Hope he doesn't look forward to LSU so much that he misses his HS experience.
