I'm playing through X right now. I bought the guide with it because when I got Platinum I was lost on which Pokemon where best to get.
I'll probably get Y in a few weeks when my next paycheck comes in.

I haven't played a pokemon game since blue, red, and yellow, but this thread makes me want to play one now.
