Basically took offense to the metaphor being used of one team was the hammer and the other was the nail. Last year the game was 14-6 and if odel doesn't fumble we have a chance to tie it up. He said it's more about equal teams and one seizing opportunities.

You gotta listen to les though. You can tell why kids love playing for him

That was awesome. Only Les could pull that off. And, he leaves them laughing.

Who was the reporter that asked the question?

Please tell me it was Kristian Garic with WWL Radio

My Les to English translation:
"Hey, annoying reporter wannabe, you're using some asinine 'hammer, nail' metaphor not because it even remotely describes the game we just played or the one we played last year, but because it fits the story some nincompoop told you to write. Your approach is not only horseshite journalism, but it disrespects two fine football teams that played two tough, close games. So sit down and STFU. Also, have a great day!"

Les says game with Fla was close and he resented the insinuation that his team was nailed by Florida.Or that Florida hammered LSU. It's not about gotcha to him. It's a battle between two teams opponents and one team has to prove they are better than the other that day by winnning the game. Offical Les Miles translator.
