Well well aren't you connected.

But seriously, everyone involved sounds like they acted like children.

Mayor Mike Cooper will have this thrown out in the morning. This is the last think the dept needs. This very well could become national news if the right people get a hold of this. Covington PD should have handled this after the game. These cops are an embarrassment to the dept.

Good thinking, I need to E- Mail this story to Fox news and CNN.

So not intimidating at all?

Well the cops should have got lecompte's brother back so the chain gang could do their job. Is he a coach or just a fan?

It was a goal to go situation. The chains weren't even in use at the time

The refs had a legitimate complaint, then since you disagree with them you arrest them? This is America damn it

Well they were obviously having a problem with him. Is he a coach or just hangs out on the sideline? I know I am getting the answers from the Mandeville side but want to know his role.

Not a coach. He was just standing there. He wasn't like on top of the guys are anything. Not like he was standing on the line by any stretch.

It was a shameful performance by both sides. The school should hire a private security firm in the future.

Got it. Well he had to be doing something to give them problems. And since you talked to the Mandeville coach I am sure his brother was just being a choir boy.

Regardless if the refs felt he needed to be dealt with then the police should have fixed the problem so that the refs can do their job.

Yeah he is not a coach. It was not him that was actually causing the problem with the sps guy but a large group near the endzone. The one guy was just singled out by the chain guy bc they had words.

Ok. Hitting the bed. Agree with others that adults have to do a better job of managing the situation then letting their egos get in the way.

My bad man. I wasn't directing it at you. Just in general. Should have specified.

Jack West was my DARE teacher in tenth grade. He dropped a now famous quote that my friends still say to this day "if you took one hit of a marijuana cigarette I could have you dancing naked on top of this desk."

Totally,mon

Funny story, I used to intern in the sports dept at the ABC station in Houston. We were covering a Katy high school game and one of the chain gang guys starts bitching that we're too close eventhough we weren't anywhere near him and threatened to have us thrown out. So we moved a little arther back.

Later in the game that chain guy was running to set the chains, tripped over them and ate shite on the sideline. The camera just happened to be rolling so we led the sportscast with him eating shite, showed a highlight of him eating shite, then closed the sportscast with him eating shite on a repeated loop.

What an example to set for the kids, on both sides.
