Probably the biggest thing i miss about the travel trailer. The 5th wheel hitch takes up allot of room. I used to throw the bikes, ice chests, fire wood etc. In the bed now i have to put it on the rack behind the 5th wheel.
This is my rig. I built a custom aluminum rack for the back after my factory bumper tore off from a bike rack + spare tire.

yeah as nice as 5th wheels are to tow and design, it was just a no go for me. I wouldn't know how to take my dog in her kennel on short trips.
