Maybe not put returner, but kick returner he was good. I dont recall him ever fielding any punts actually. But Mo was electric in high school, I actually thought they would play him on offense cus he was so good with the ball in his hands. He did play qb and made some amazing plays running all over the field.

I was often reminded of his offensive background in HS when he would make his interceptions look like a text book receiver going up for the ball at the highest point of his jump.

Every ball thrown in his area was in jeopardy of being picked off by Mo and I eventually came to expect him to make every catch that a polished receiver should make.

We sure were lucky to have him and PP7 on the field at the same time back then.
