Was frustrating to not see him in all game, and then he makes a great tackle on ST. He deserves some meaningful game time IMO.

Do you really think Chavis isn't playing him because he is too talented? If he isn't getting PT, then he isn't the best at his position YET. I think he has the pysical ability to be a stud, but obviously he isn't there YET.

So he played sparingly? Our LB's get destroyed as it is...at least let Beckwith get a better feel for the game before making the judgment that he's not capable.

Welter is gonna Welter, it is what it is.
Barrow looked bad last night, but it's because he was covering a slot guy...and that's not even fair. Other than the fact he can't cover #4, he actually had a decent game...decent. Louis played well when he was in, Beckwith didn't.

I realize he is an athletic upgrade at that position but idc how talented you are,you still have make your reads quick,learn the defense and just develope a feel for the game. Chief evidently puts more stock in somebody that knows the gameplan back and front then a true freshman physical beast..with that being said I'm sure they are working like crazy to get beckwith up to speed and it won't be long before our d coordinator makes the change

I think with his size he could be a run stopper,Welker is not getting the job done just to small and weak to shed the blocks

The Tigers won handily--he's got to get some experience, as his combination of size & talent will be needed in the 2014 season. We'll have to tolerate a few plays where he does not look good--they are giving T. White plenty of chances, he will likely be a great DB, but why not give beckwith chances as well?

White overtook the starter for the position. Beckwith hasn't done anything to show he was better than the guy in front of him on the depth chart.
I agree he needs playing time in order to get better and get used to the speed of the game...but the Tre White comparison isn't a good one.
