How different is the french quarter experience for night games?

i had a blast all day in the quarter but it made me wonder if thats really a lot different for night games.
hard to imagine the vibe could be the same having to get out there at the crack of dawn as opposed to getting out there at noon and still having plenty of time to spend to get around and have a couple (
) drinks

Not really much going on for a noon game in the quarter.
I find it best for 3:00 pm games. 7:30 games it gets really packed.

i usually bar hop a bit when there. razoos has a decent projection screen for the game...so does another bar that does a projection on the wall just outside of the bar itself. cant miss it from bourbon(cant remember the name).
only problem is for night games(provided we win) you will black out(if you drink like a champ)
your group will get belligerent and wander around getting separated...
some will wander into strip clubs and try to pull a quarter rat stripper with gonorrhea, others may take a stroll to harahhs...others may be wasting 8 dollars on some pretty awful hotdogs, or your DD could get pissed and ditch the group in the city altogether(true story it happened)
the next day hits you like a bag of bricks...i have been in the quarter at around 5 or 6 in the morning, got work at 7:30, just spent 250-300 easy(if i was well behaved) ringing head the whole 9.
at the end of the day if your single...definitely worth it...i met so many girls during the games over the past 3 years since I came home, some college, some saints fans, hell even ohio state cheerleaders on separate occasion.
if your responsible, a family man etc...your experience may differ
