Agreed, all in the sake of power wars between the Big 3. Odds are I'll never come close to using my current 6.7 to it's fullest capabilities. I'd be more interested it see how the power bump effects fuel efficiency.
ETA: If you're meaning in terms of reliability I really think the 6.7 is damn near bomb proof. H&S fed one nitrous up to almost 900hp and it still held together with no issues.

true. as they did with the 7.3 but i guess the gubment wouldn't much care for that engine nowadays.
purdy truck though. my 99 SD is 2000+ miles away in a garage.
