Don't forget the combine affects draft position. Even if freak has a subpar season, an impressive display there could move him back in to the first.

Freak needs to stay another year or risk being an unsigned free agent by January.

JFF in the second round? Someone will take him earlier. Is he even draft eligible this year????

not the way he's playing this year…. which could bode well for us in the long run… another year on campus to increase his draft stock and get back into the first….
Signed barkevious mingo. The nfl drafts on potential and talent much more than they do stats. Freak is a "freak" of an athlete and can do things that very few people his size can. He'll be a first round pick this year barring injury

Wait.....I thought L. Collins was a first round lock?!

He's a RS sophomore, and his size is going to have an effect on him being drafted higher than one would think based on his college production (in before Russell Wilson comparison)

Marques Colston
Drafted 2006: 7th Rnd, 252nd by NO

In all fairness Colston wasn't in national spotlight every couple weeks much less EVER.

Too lazy (and busy) to look it up, but many had Sam Montgomery as an early to mid-first rounder at this time last year. Instead he fell big time (and many thought he was overrated even with the 3rd round spot). As late as February, Sports Illustrated had him going as the 25th pick:

So, these things are written by non-scouts, to pass the time and to get "clicks" for advertising dollars. I do not see a single first round pick on our current team in 2014. Mett and Landry could move up. But Freak is not. Loston may go undrafted.

I really don't see us having as many juniors declare this year.

I just wish Manziel would go to Jacksonville.

That's the dumbest shite ever. Kid has been playing with a hurt left arm. When he gets healthy, he will be much more dominant.

Manziel can only hope to land in Philly. Chip Kellys scheme is probably the only one he can realistically translate to at the NFL level.

Chip Kelly's scheme isn't an NFL offense. They look absolutely abysmal, so if you think that scheme is the only one that Manziel could realistically translate to the NFL in, you must not think he going to be playing in the NFL.
