10,000 Days, the album, is super underrated. I can't take seriously people who vote 10,000 Days Tool's worst album.
I'm going to borrow your exact words when discussing 10,000 days.
quote:
Listen...if a band that I like puts out an overall shitty album, I'm not going to like that album just because it was created by a band that I have liked in the past.
Overall, the album just isn't that great.
I think over time you'll realize this. Some bands get better with time. Some bands plateau and disappear. Some bands actually succeed at putting out worse and worse material over time because people always hold out hope the next album with be the band's return to greatness.
People start to believe, "Well, if this album is alright, then that means it's a success."
Y'all start to settle for mediocrity.
That is 10,000 Days.

CDawg,
I did make the above post and I own it 100 percent.
However, that does not describe 10,000 Days. 10,000 Days is an incredible album and includes Tool's very best song to date, Rosetta Stoned.
I'm not saying this because I'm a huge Tool fan who likes everything they put out...I don't.
I just completely disagree with 10,000 Days being Tool's weakest effort.
In fact, it's one of Tool's most complex efforts.
