I didn't see their 37 - 14 win over UP but they must have a good defense to keep them to 14 points. That's the fewest points UP has scored so far.
I think they're good every year, but I played on teams that lost to them in 1975 & 1976. Back then, Homer beat us every year too.

Thanks for the response. It is about time for another state championship ring. I has been two or three years now since they won a state championship.
My wife is from Homer. Homer's coach was a very close relative. The 71 and 72 seasons were fun for both schools, especially for Haynesville.
