Did Mett at least guarantee a 2nd round pick after yesterday?

I'm not big into the draft thing but I think he should be in the top 50 picks right?

Nothing is guaranteed, my friend.

Mett just solidified himself as a gunslinger. Not a Farve Gunslinger but a Brady gunslinger. Now if he can progress to that level is a whole nother convo. But as for now. Mett did good.

If he don't get hurt and the world don't end.

Still, he's not guaranteed to continue to play great.

He keeps playing like ytday his stock can only go up. The window where he threw that Jarvis Landry catch was pretty damn sick. In between 3 defenders.

The most Immobile QB in College Football. Has no Pocket Awareness.

He keeps playing the way he is playing he might slide into the 1st. They have a lot of NFL teams that are desperate for QB's. Will be a good year for him coming out.

All depends on the combines and how other QB's perform at the combines.

Murry got all the press, but I think Mett looked more impressive. For that matter, Mett does not get mentioned by the press, but I am sure the scouts are watching closly. I think Mett will be a bigger pro than most of the current college QB's being built up, such as McCarron- overrated.

LSU fans had better savor this year while they can.
With Mett leaving and ZERO experience behind him, we could be looking at a couple tough years coming up.

The rest of the season will determine Metts draft status. Mett could play himself into the bottom first or second round definately if he keeps playing the way he is playing. The arm strength, accuracy, and ability to fit the ball in tight windows will give the Edge if he continues. One thing is certain. You give him reasonable time, he can torch any defense. From a great Bama D last year, with studs offensive play calling mind you, to TCU and UGA this year.

Completely disagree with the pocket awareness part. I think he has great awareness. He steps up in the pocket well. First rounder IMO.

With good Protection. When Defense invades his Space, he freezes, and just folds.

Choke yourself. He did well yesterday. You can't avoid sacks all day when your opposition is getting the penetration that GA did.
Mett did well at avoiding the pressure most of the time. He knew when to step up and when to roll to his right. And his passing was beyond excellent. Not even Bert Jones had the arm that Mett has.
