I don't disagree that the west is stronger as a unit, but I don't see why you would suppose that UGA individually would not be a contender in the West. shite, they were four yards from beating Bama in a bigger game in a neutral venue. That's arguably closer than LSU got. I do wish UGA consistently played tougher West opposition though. I believe they were meant to play Bama last year but Mizzou joined and screwed that up.

well, we'll see about them and LSU tomorrow. i think they could beat bama and or tamu. so let's say they would go 1-1 vs bama/tamu. so 1 or 2 L's depending on how they do vs LSU. it could be one of those years where everyone beats up on each other. so i'll say bama and LSU 1 loss, uga 2 losses, a&m 3 losses.
