re: Hidden Gems in BR

I went a few weeks ago for the first time solely on the recommendation of this board. There were mostly asian people there and no hostess to be seen. We stood around feeling out of place but then we were seated and given both menus. Our server was wonderful even if her English speaking left something to be desired. The friends we went with returned the next weekend.

I have never had the paella at La Reyna actually. My friend liked it and I knew the price was good for the dish. I had a plantain and fish dish that I really liked but I have no idea what the name was. Another friend had a slow cooked pork dish that was incredible.
