Hill is the best running back we have had since D. Hilliard. I love Kevin Faulk and while Faulk was a better all around offensive weapon Hill is the better running back.
Holy shite.

I'm sure there is a companion piece about Blue, right?
After all, he is just as good as Hill. The Rant said so.

as mentioned, you are missing Dalton Hilliard and one other NFL HoF running back who played for the Tigers.
And, if we are talking about pure talent/potential, whither the Diesel?

I dislike when the NFL guys start talking potentiall draft position for college players. That seemed to hurt Sonic Sam last year, and a few other Tigers, just my opinion.

Best RB since Faulk no doubt.
Needs "All Eyes on 33" shaved in his head before i'll say he's better.

Yeah, and in no way did Sam dig his own grave.

I mean, you can definitely make an argument for Hill. But, "no doubt"? Come the frick on.

Hill knows what to do when there is a hole and space to run. That is good.
He has not impressed me as a powerful or prolific tackle breaker with breakaway speed to boot. Think Jamal Lewis or Trent Richardson.
Hill is good but not great. He will need great work by O-line to put up great stats against the big boys.

Who's better?

Well, stat-wise and in terms of body of work, there have been several RB's better than Hill since Faulk. He had 750 yards last year and has a little over 300 this year. Let's just take a deep breath before we say he is the best since Faulk.
Edit: Just an example, Vincent's 2003 season is just as, if not more impressive than anything Hill has done.
Toefield, Davis, Addai, Ridley, etc.

i can't think of a single lsu running back in my lifetime that i'd trade for Jeremy Hill. was born in 1980.
flame away, he's one of the best running backs we've ever had. ppl will not truly appreciate him until he's gone.

Here here. Poor Darren McFadden, what a waste.
Good points on past backs and man have we had some great ones. Hill and Gurley are hands down the best this year and if he stays healthy Hill could be a top 5 pick.

He "does" have 18 total. Very very impressive and not trying to take anything away. People just need to remember we've had some beasts at RB from 1999-now.

LaBrandon Toefield and Domanick Davis were really, really good, but Hill looks better. Hill will be able to leave for the NFL before he has a chance to fade like Broussard or Vincent.
