Pisses me off because I feel like the show actually did a good job for seasons 3-8 explaining why Robin and Ted wouldn't work out. And I actually buy Robin and Barney at this point.

I never bought Robin and Barney together. I think that was a huge mistake IMHO. They should've had Barney stay with the stripper and kept Robin single (maybe move back off to Japan again or something).

They've set Barney up to show a different side of him with the Robin stuff. That he can actually be compassionate for one woman. Thus it wouldn't make sense for him to cheat Robin or be unhappy in marriage. Plus Ted couldn't break the bro code and bang Barney's ex wife. If Robin and Ted happens, I'm thinking Barney will be dead too.
