A few recent 1st round WRs..

DeAndre Hopkins 6'1 214 lbs ran a 4.57 (1st round)
Justin Blackmon 6'1 210 lbs ran a 4.46 (1st round)
Michael Floyd 6'3 220 lbs ran a 4.47 (1st round)
Kendall Wright 5'10 196 lbs ran a 4.61 (1st round)
A.J Jenkins 6'0 190 lbs ran a 4.39 (1st round)

Odell Beckham Jr. 6'0 193 lbs
Jarvis Landry 6'1 195 lbs

Both Beckham and Landry are both sub 6'

Im not hating on them. They are really good players.

check the numbers of those other guys. None of those guys are midgets. those are their official heights. They were, for the most part, listed 2-3" more in college.

And just about all of them have way more production in college as Landry and Beckham. We'll see where they stand after this year, but i think staying the SR year could improve their draft stock.

Les isn't good at keeping his guys in school when they are fringe pros.

You are so wrong. The new recruiting philosophy in the better college programs (like Saban/Bsms) is to sell your program as a place to get NFL ready by their Jr season. The better players aren't going to stay 4 years if they can get to the NFL.

barring injury this week or next (knock on wood) I think they both leave. Especially if the seasons continues going the way it has.

Behind Marquise Lee, Sammy Watkins, and Mike Evans I like these guys just as much if not more. Obviously they may fit in diff schemes or positions but they compare nicely as far as ability.

Not true. While I do agree that most measurables are exaggerated in college, I've met both of these guys personally and they are both a comfortable 6.'

Neither will grow. There's a ceiling on their draft stock. If they continue to produce the rest of the year, coming back might be too much of a risk with a Sophmore QB. Who knows though, I hope they both come back.

Guys going pro early is not a problem, no matter how people try to spin it.

This. Let's be more like Idaho or Eastern Michigan so none of our guys will ever declare early.

Anyone that thinks that Landry couldn't become a "wes welker" type of reciever in the NFL, just hasn't been paying attention.

That start-stop-start move he put on a KSU defender roughly 7-yards past the LOS was sick, I was like are you kidding me. His hands, body control and football mentality are excellent.
