Neighboring condo rental unit suspicions

Not sure if this is the right board but I assume some of y'all with investment properties have run into this situation...
A few units down from my rental unit in a nice gated condo community on brightside, a condo went into foreclosure after sitting vacant for a year. Now it has 3 new tenants, with 2 people in their 20s and 1 in their 50s. Their 2 cars have been wrecked and almost all of the cars windows are duct taped or Saran wrapped and have mismatched rims. I am worried about the image this will give when it comes time to re-rent my unit.
I am not trying to be judgemental, just trying to stay on top of my investment.
Would it be improper if I called the condo association to make sure it is not section 8 housing or anything like that? Is there a website that displays this type of information?

Check the tax assessor's website and see who owns the property. Most sites will give you a number of the public record by which they got the information. If you really are that worried, go down the the courhouse and pull the record and see who owns it and what they paid for it.

Possible squatters??? The owner (or, the bank if bank-owned) may not know their property is being occupied.
I would definitely check it out.

Sounds like an investor bought it cheap and has section 8 rats in there.
I'd be surprised if squatters were in a gated community.

Check the condo assn CC&R's against unsightly vehicles on property. Do the cars run?

You must have a very weak or no condo association. I know some condo owners bitch about this them but mine won’t put up with anything like that. Do you have a management firm? If so, contact them in writing and copy the president of the condo assn.

No kidding. I got a certified letter because I left my garbage can out too long.
