Fair enough. I guess I can see both of those being question marks.

Yeah, has absolutely NOTHING to do with "P&G glasses". TCU has a very good secondary. I'm not going to sit here and have a pissing contest with you about whether TCU has a better secondary than Alabama or not because clearly that's all you are going for with my comment.
Posted on 9/16/13 at 1:54 pm to PurpleAndGold86
You are the most sensitive person in this thread.
You claimed that TCU, a mediocre Big 12 team with an above average defense, has a better secondary than 7 SEC teams. With no substance or proof to back it up. Just "they have a good secondary". Compounded by the fact you called TCU a "top 20" team, just because they were ranked in the top 20 when you played them.

You're the one getting bent out of shape because I said that they have a better secondary than Alabama. If you think I'm blindly making the comment through my thick P&G glasses then why do you keep spending time trying to argue? God forbid someone that says that anyone else is better than Bama at something.
Posted on 9/16/13 at 2:03 pm to PurpleAndGold86
You are the one who originally brought Bama into the argument. Irrelevantly.
I responded to your comment.
Why you felt the need to compare them to a team you won't play for over a month? I don't know, but I do have a good guess.

They were when we beat them.
And the secondary that Mett faced that night is better than every other secondary we will face all year except for Florida. And that includes Alabama's.

Maybe because they are easily thee second best defense we will face all season other than UF??

That still has nothing to do with TCU being a top 20 team?
This post makes it sound like LSU is a super bowl contender. And you used an irrelevant comment saying TCU's secondary was better than Bama's to some how validate your claim that TCU was a top 20 team.
Top 20 opponent? Nope.
On the road? Nope. Granted it was in Dallas, but there were more LSU fans at that stadium than would have been if it was on TCU's campus. I'm sure the split was a bit in TCU's favor, but not by much.
Any offensive questions have been answered? Offense has looked good, but it's a far cry from being truly tested. Will Auburn give them a test? Somewhat, but I'm gonna reserve judgement on this LSU team until UGA next week.
Hell, I'm reserving judgement on Bama for now. We beat A&M, but it was sloppy. Granted the score was a bit closer than the game indicated, we still have much to improve on and I think Ole Miss should be a good game in a few weeks. If they are catching over 14 points, I'll look at taking the Black Bears.

LSU has played a top 20 opponent on the road and beat them. Any questions about the offense have been answered. The Oline is fantastic, the RBs are fantastic and Mett has been very good so far through 3 games (9 TDs vs 0 Interceptions).

You stay up to watch the end of the game last night? Seahawks had the ball on the 20 with 3 minutes left and ran the clock out instead of kicking the FG on 4th & 1 to push the total to 35. Deep down I knew Pete Carroll wouldn't take the free points because of the history between him and Harbaugh.
Luckily I hit my in game over 27.5 I got right before halftime.

I was thinking about your over when that happened. I knew they were gonna just go for the first and end the game. I think it was the right call anyways.
Posted on 9/16/13 at 2:26 pm to bamafan425
It made what would've been a +6.5 unit day a +2 unit day. But I can't even be mad, had a great week. I don't play live lines often, because my local only has them for primetime games. But it is fun trying to pick your spots to get the best number .

All I said was they were a top 20 team when we played them. They were according to the rankings. However, IMO Rankings are 100% irrelevant. Saying they were a top 20 team was no more than adjective.

Was the game played in Tiger Stadium? No. It was a road game. We may have had fans there. but this was most certainly a road game played at a "neutral site".

Yes, IMO the offensive questions have been answered. 3 games in to the season and we are light years ahead of last year. Mett is a much improved quarterback that seems to have taken control of the offense, unlike last year. The offensive line is VASTLY improved. The WRs seem to have more confidence as they aren't dropping every ball thrown their way. We have been throwing the football a good bit, which seems to answer the question about Miles getting in the way of Cam. IMO most of the offensive questions have been answered. Auburn will not be as big of a test for this offense as TCU was. Not by a long shot.

Fair enough.
Am I saying that LSU is the lock of the century? No. I do think LSU will cover, but it isn't like I am more confident in this game than Oregon-Virginia or Oregon-Tennessee.
I wanted to know what the other poster thought were LSUs question marks.

Yeah man I was chuckling to myself thinking about you watching that. Has happened to me many times. Like when spurrier decided to make the qb run out the back of the endzone so they didn't have chance of getting the punt blocked
And this is the exact reason why I said I wasn't gonna argue this game

I don't fricking get it. Arky St is down to -3.5. I'm guessing I should probably buy out my bet and just eat the juice?
Posted on 9/16/13 at 3:57 pm to PurpleAndGold86
Please make it stop
Posted on 9/16/13 at 3:58 pm to HoLeInOnEr05
That's insane. I grabbed it as one of my early lines so it wouldn't cross 7. I'll probably stick with it, but who knows.

Doubt you ever see LSU -15.5 like you say, both Michigan and LSU are 18.5. Glad I got both at 16.5 buying hook
Posted on 9/16/13 at 4:53 pm to WRedmondsStang
I don't wanna see LSU -15.5. I'll be on Auburn most likely once it keeps going up.
I see Michigan and LSU both at -17.5 at most places. Michigan at -18 at the Wynn and LVH.

Yeah I think Im gonna buy Mich down to -17 because I dont see it going the other way

Gotcha. My local uses scores n odds. I was just looking out for you, thought you were on LSU and may want to lock it in. You will be better suited to wait as it will continue to climb, may come down on game day when casual bettors take AU and the points, if indeed that is the side you choose to be on.
Posted on 9/16/13 at 5:26 pm to WRedmondsStang
For me, as of now, it's AU or no play.
No rush for me to make a play on it thankfully. Appreciate the heads up though.
