Wow. Sounds like another good idea. How much did these items cost you? And it allows you to watch TV on it for 5-6 hours without running out of juice?

It's nothing but a atv/wheel chair/lawnmower/ whatever else battery. You hook up the inverter to it like you would jumper cables. You could probably get a battery and inverter for around $100 give or take.
You will also need a battery tender/charger to charge the battery. Not sure how much those run.
I can't comment on how long it will last or how much juice it can put out. Hopefully someone else will chime in.

About $150 using Harbor Freight for some of the items.
5-6 hours no problem. Watched 2 full games last week and never ran out of juice.
Drain of tv will of course vary the battery life.
