Sometimes I think Blizz makes Flavor of the month classes on purpose.

All of them do this. They break a class on purpose to encourage players to roll new classes. WoW broke my warrior and I went to Rift. When Rift broke my Mage in successive patches I knew it was time that went back to real life.
