No excuse for USC to look like that. We're going to see multiple traditional powers make coaching changes this year.

I'm glad some deserving team will occupy a spot in the Top 25 rather than USC.

October 1st 2008

In an unprecedented news conference, Oakland Raiders owner Al Davis explained the firing of Lane Kiffin in great detail. Davis said he was "embarrassed to watch" the Raiders play under Kiffin.

"I reached a point where I felt that the whole staff were fractionalized, that the best thing to do to get this thing back was to make a change," Davis said during the lengthy news conference. "It hurts because I picked the guy. I picked the wrong guy.''

I hate USC, HATE!HATE! That being said, how an established team like USC could hire Lame Kitten to begin with is inexcusable! It's not like he didn't already have a ton of baggage, questionable ethics, and most importantly, he never won in any of his previous stops!! What were those clowns thinking??

I find myself rooting for USC to barely win the game. That ups the chances of a post-game meltdown from Leach and increases the chances boy blunder gets more time as head coach of USC

I didn't get my wish but find myself entertained all the same

Regardless of whether USC sucks or not, this is a big win for the Cougars. Must feel good to go into the coliseum and shut up the socal pretty boys.
