West Monroe folks or others with info, what role did Guice play in recruiting Robinson to Alabama?
Here is the info that is out there:
1) DB coach at West Monroe (also works at Victory Sports Academy)
2) Worked Alabama football camps in 2011-2. Sees Nick Saban as a mentor ( LINK)
2) Suspended for improperly bringing Robinson to visit Alabama ( LINK)

After reading this, it appears that he's been Bama bound for quite some time and probably got pressured to commit early to help recruit the other LA guys along with Sims and this Guice fkr.

My question is why in the hell is this guy on Don Shows staff at West Monroe?
Somebody from the area please answer me that.......
I played for Shows for a year before he was at WMHS, and Guice's antics don't sound like the stuff Coach Shows would put up with from his assistants.

If I was the principal at WM, and I knew that this guy was sending Louisiana kids to Alabama, I would fire him very quickly. He should have been fired as opposed to suspended.

For those of you trying to place the blame on Don Shows please get your facts straight. Shows had nothing to do with this, it was all C Rob's handlers King and Guice. As I've said before it's no secret about what's been going on and you don't need insider info to see the truth.
How quickly people forget all the talent that West Monroe and Don Shows have sent to LSU. How about S. King, T. Banks, R. Reed, B.Smalling, A. McConathy, B. James, A. Whitworth, S. Clemons, B. Mingo, P. Turner? Our big time, blue chip players go to LSU for the most part so one bad gump apple doesn't spoil the whole bunch.

The fact that you rantards are blaming West Monroe High School for Cam's decision is absurd. West Monroe remains a huge supporter of LSU and I don't see that changing anytime soon. Cam brought these associations with him to WMHS, and they made a disappointing choice but it was Robinson's to live with. Alabama has made headway with many elite athletes in Louisiana, not just up here, and particularly in the African American community. Bama wins and wins big. Beat them on the field and you'll win more of those hard fought recruiting battles.

I know him pretty well. He went to Wossman in Monroe . During one of those years he tried to transfer to WM but had to come back because it was later found out that they had recruited him. Why they recruited him I don't know but he was the 4th RB on the depth chart. This guy is really not his own person. He has always wanted to be like somebody else. I remember when Derrick Zimmerman was at Wossman guess who he wanted to be like. Then he jumped from one dick to the next and want to be like D'antris Capers. The moral of the story is that he will go with whatever is going good.
