I see what you mean. So what's the deal with killzone? Good story? Typical shooter? I never played them.

Relatively typical FPS, pretty good story, graphics will be the best on either platform for quite awhile, online has potential to be unreal good if they can ever reach it. By the sounds of it, they have really revamped the MP.

No reason for me to play it then. I can get that experience on pc and I'm not a big FPS fan anyway.

Not a big FPS fan, well BF4, but yeah, I'm already 3 games into the story and the graphics are amazing.
Multi and story are well worth it for me, and apparently tons others as it's preordered out the arse!

I'm not even planning on getting bf4 as good as it looks. Was killzone 2 the best? Ratings on metacritic say 1 sucked basically

1 was alright from what I remember, PS2 days are fuzzy.
KZ2 was legit, 3 was pretty good too.

Killzone 1 didn't have the graphics, but I enjoyed it a lot. The story was better then the other 2.
Deep Down looks awesome, but I'm not a big MMO fan.
I personally love Gran Turismo, but I like cars more than video games. If Gran Turismo added engine swaps it would be my favorite game ever.

Yeah, it's an RPG, and looks quite a bit like Demon's Souls from what we've seen so far.

That's good. In that case I will get it. I don't know why I thought it was.

They described it as an "online game" meaning it has online cooperative play. I can see where you might have thought it was an MMO.

PS4 is winning console war in 2018, say analysts

PlayStation 4 will be winning the next-generation console war by a considerable amount come 2018, say analysts.
The agency in question, DFC Intelligence, regularly publishes research on the video game industry. Their latest prediction, as seen via Jack Tretton's recent Fox Business interview, says that PS4 will command 55 percent of next-gen console sales by 2018. Microsoft's Xbox One lags behind considerably, with only 30 percent of next-gen mindshare by the same year. Meanwhile, Nintendo's Wii is (expectedly) in dead last, with DFC predicting only 15 percent of next-gen console sales by 2018 going toward the sales-troubled console.

That does it. Cancelling my XBone order.

No, we want your shitty kind on the shitty console.

Just randomly saw this.

PlayStation 4 is currently around 50 per cent faster than its rival Xbox One. Multiple high-level game development sources have described the difference in performance between the consoles as “significant” and “obvious.”
Our contacts have told us that memory reads on PS4 are 40-50 per cent quicker than Xbox One, and its ALU (Arithmetic Logic Unit) is around 50 per cent faster. One basic example we were given suggested that without optimisation for either console, a platform-agnostic development build can run at around 30FPS in 1920×1080 on PS4, but it’ll run at “20-something” FPS in 1600×900 on Xbox One. “Xbox One is weaker and it’s a pain to use its ESRAM,” concluded one developer.
Microsoft is aware of the problem and, having recently upped the clock speed of Xbox One, is working hard to close the gap on PS4, though one developer we spoke to downplayed the move. “The clock speed update is not significant, it does not change things that much,” he said. “Of course, something is better than nothing.”

Those quotes are a bit deceiving. The back half of that article state that it depends on other factors such as the way your program and if you have any use for cloud or not.
