re: Why isn't Brazil retuning kicks or punts?

I will admit, though I don't want him in on punts, I wouldn't mind seeing Brazil as the 2nd return guy on kickoffs. Assuming he is physical enough to block the shite out of the opponents' gunner. Gotta have a want for quality contact in that role.

quote:your right someone has the answer and his name is les miles and he says who plays and when, not you or anyone else....do you think that maybe there is a reason he is not playing yet , I don't get why fans think they are more qualified than the coaches that are with these player everyday....
Add any post you wish, good speed? Yes. Game changing? No, he was run down by two TCU cover guys. Trindon, PP don't get caught on that return. Surely someone has a real answer to the Brazil status as a return guy.

wtf is wrong with him asking about brazil ?? i bet he knows obj is great and agrees---he was probably satisfied also with it--hes just wondering like me why no brazil? cuz of being a frosh? top 20 team? close game? etc just trying to get input u insecure bashing asshats

A known commodity as a returner, OBJ, should be benched for a true Frosh, JB, who we have no idea how good hell be as a returner?
Makes sense....

OBJ did change the game.
There are games on the horizon in which the freshman may get his chance.

nothing wrong with asking about Brazil, that wasn't the issue with what the OP asked.Saying that OBJ was not a game changer or had no game changing speed was the issue, did you read all of the original post? Did you understand it?

I just hope Les will give him a chance to return Kick offs this season. In my opinion Les wasted Trindon, by not playing him enough.

Why even ask about him when you have someone in the game taking care of the duties?
He's basically saying that he wants to give a true freshman that has never seen action in a live college football game solely based off his track running abilities and some high school football highlights video.
Does that make any sense to you?

Yeah? What other role should trindon Holliday should have had? What else could have he accomplished considered the other talent around him?
Kids have roles on teams. Les used Holliday plenty for what he was good for.
Think the NFL coaches isn't using Holliday enough? They're using him pretty much only on special teams. For a problem with that too?

Ball security is the most important thing to any coach when considering who will return punts and kicks...If Brazil has struggled at all with this in practice or scrimmages, and I'm not saying he has, it will be awhile before he gets a chance in a game.

I think Odell is fast, most likely a very low 4.4 guy, but I was surprised to see him get caught on the 75 yard kick return, until I noticed who caught him. The guy who caught him is #7 Colby Listenbee for TCU. If you watched the Opening from 2 summers ago, when Landon Collins won the Sparq challenge, you would recognize the name because Listenbee ran a laser timed 4.34 or something ridiculous as a guy entering his senior year of high school! Then factor in that Listenbee only plays in a reserved roll while OBD plays the entire game, it makes sense why he was caught. But don't worry, guys that fast are few and far between and if OBD performs that way all season, majority of Tiger fans will be totally fine with it.

are you high or blind? OBJ is the most explosive player on our team. brazil didn't look that explosive last night, either. he certainly falls way behind OBJ in COD/elusiveness at this point

Yeah, let's just concede that the coaches know what they're doing.
