I caught for some guys in high school that threw 89, 90.

It slows down after you've seen it a few times.

Yeah, I have always heard something about the best hitters can "train" their eyes somehow.

It really does. After seeing pitches like that thousands of times you can tell very quickly if a fastball is going to be a strike or close enough that you should swing at it.

You grow into it. It seems difficult to someone that has never done it but start when your a young buck and its easier than some think.
