I've seen people limp with a hurt knee before. I've seen people grip their back after a swing. I've never seen someone fall to the ground in pain after a swing. Do you think he hurt his back worse on that swing than anyone has ever hurt their back on the PGA Tour (at least, as long I've been watching)?

How many times do you think they would show an average tour player falling to the ground after a tee shot? Unless it's a big name, and/or he's in contention, it'd probably get shown once or twice. No GIF would be posted to the MSB, for sure.

If you have ever tweaked your back, then you would know.

The pain shoots and literally makes your legs give out from under you.

Did Tiger milk it? I don't know. But falling to your knees isn't an odd reaction if you tweak your back. It happens involuntarily.
