In terms of raw talent, sure. But in terms of development using raw talent-no way

Well, IMO, AJMc is about on par with Mett.

Especially the AJMc that lost "the game of the century".

What I am trying to say is there is MUCH more that goes into winning a MNC in CFB. Comparing our QB to an NFL QB that is allowed to lose regular season games and has to go through a playoff is a bit laughable to me.

But I agree about development. He will be better this year, but I don't think that translates into MNC.

Mett loses ONE regular season game, especially in the SEC, LSU will not play for the title. Too many media darlings with easy schedules ahead of us.

A can think of a different Super Bowl QB who would be a better analogy. Trent Dilfer.

I hate to admit it, but AJ played lights out last year. He had 30 TDs and only 3 INTs to go with a 68% completion percentage. Now, he did have an all-world line in front of him and some great RBs, but still... At the end of the day, you have to be accurate.

I think Mett could have a really good year though. He does have a great arm and our passing schemes have been pitiful for the last few years. I'm thinking a new coordinator could make a huge difference for him and our offense.
