I don't think anyone really knows what he did in the offseason but practice......we talking about practice? I really don't see how any 6"0 player could be better than he was, no matter how much he practiced.

Yes, I'm sure his retirement will be to much fanfare He couldn't even get picked up the last two years. He was a stud in his heyday though.
Happy Retirement!
Happy Retirement!

If he worked as hard as Kobe on his craft he would have been the best ever

I thought he was already retired? I guess there's a gray area between retired and unemployed

One of my favorite players to watch. This guy was a true underdog in every sense of the word.
True underdog... Had to deal with being born with superhuman athleticism and speed... Must have been tough to weed through all those scholarship offers for multiple sports

No shite, huh? OP made it sound like he had to fight for every inch just to stay on the court, but in reality he was physically supremely gifted. Maybe not in basketball height, but he always had that wicked crossover. You don't just learn/practice that or half the NBA would be doing it. He was a very selfish player and the league caught onto it and no one wanted to play with him. And he was too good to come off the bench.
But he does get my award for best sound bite of all time :practice?:
